Objectives.
The main object for which CPS is established (the “Main Object”) is to support projects in the service of vulnerable persons, particularly orphaned children, in Zambia, especially those infected or affected by HIV or AIDS. To this end, fundraising will be undertaken in Ireland to support approved Public Benefit Organisations and other charitable organisations and community benefit groups in Zambia, which are known to the members of CPS and which provide effective and sustainable programmes in Zambia with the purpose of improving the lives of vulnerable persons, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare.
As objects incidental and ancillary to the attainment of the Main Object, CPS has the subsidiary objects of assisting in the provision of training and development projects in Zambia and to provide support with the aim of enabling individuals and organisations in Zambia to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.
